We hosted Thanksgiving at our new house this year! This was my first time hosting, and it was a lot of fun! My parents, Cole's parents and Cole's Aunt Doris all came over on Thanksgiving afternoon for our big meal. I was in charge of the turkey and vegetables, and then my parents brought the stuffing and sweet potato casserole and Cole's parents brought cornbread muffins and banana bread and pumpkin pie. It is really so nice when we are split up the food, esp for the host! All of the food was delicious, and I was very pleased with how my first turkey turned out. Here is the recipe I used for the turkey. Unfortunately, Noah was still a bit under the weather and was not in his prime, but other than that, it was a wonderful day. I hope yours was too!
