Cotton Ball Sensory Play

All of the white snow last week inspired me to come up with an activity using cotton balls for Noah. He loves sensory play, so I thought the cotton balls might be a new fun way to enjoy this type of play.

I filled a wooden bowl full of cotton balls and hid some of his plastic bugs in the bowl too. He had so much fun exploring the cotton balls, finding his bugs, dumping the bowl, throwing the cotton balls in the air and picking them back up and putting them in the mason jar. A morning full of fun! Hope your child enjoys it too!

*Extension Activities: This activity would be a great way to practice counting, skip counting and groups of ten.
